🌾 Chilliwack Fair & Rodeo – August 8–10, 2025

Join the 153rd Chilliwack Fair at Heritage Park for a true Barnyard Bash. This family-friendly event features rodeo action sanctioned by the B.C. Rodeo Association—bull riding, bronc riding, barrel racing, and more. There’s also live music, food trucks, artisan vendors, circus acts, and 4-H animal exhibits.

🎨 Chilliwack Mural Festival – August 7–17, 2025

Take a walk through Downtown Chilliwack and discover over a dozen large-scale murals being painted live! The Chilliwack Mural Festival is an 11-day celebration of public art, featuring artist talks, workshops, tours, and an epic free street party on August 15 & 16 with music, food trucks, and community vibes.

✈ Chilliwack Flight Festival Airshow – August 16–17, 2025

Canada’s longest-running free airshow returns to the skies over Chilliwack! The Flight Fest includes a Twilight Show & Hangar Party on Saturday and a full aerial performance on Sunday. Enjoy stunt pilots, vintage aircraft displays, and family fun at the Chilliwack Airport.

🏈 Valley Huskers Football 

Support local sports and enjoy a summer evening tradition at Exhibition Stadium as the Valley Huskers take on the best of the BC Football Conference. What's better than watching some competitive football on a warm summer night with a beverage in hand?Home games in August include:

🌸 Chilliwack Flower Festival

Chilliwack’s late-summer blooms are always worth seeing! Hosted at Greendale Acres, the Greendale Acres Flower Festival is a new addition to the packed line-up of things to do in BC this August. Stroll through the flower fields, take a workshop and make yourself a flower crown and enjoy some live music as the sun goes down. There's also face painting for the kids and a licensed wine tasting area for adults! 

It sounds like it's going to be a super fun event, make sure you get your tickets for August 16th and 17th.

Don’t Forget to Visit District 1881

Of course, no visit to Chilliwack is complete without visiting District 1881 in historic downtown. While you're in town, swing by our Chilliwack coffee shop for a coffee and some lunch, visit the local shops and check out the murals peppered throughout downtown.
