Shipping policy

We ship every order fully insured and trackable. If anything goes sideways with a shipment, email us at hello@smokingguncoffee.com and we'll sort it out.
Retail orders (smokingguncoffee.com)
Where we ship
We currently ship within Canada only. Shipping to the United States is paused while we work through cross-border tariff and import requirements for coffee. We don't have a firm date for reopening it yet — if you're in the U.S. and want to be notified, drop us a line.
Rates
- British Columbia & Alberta: $10 flat rate, any order size
- Rest of Canada: $16 flat rate, any order size
- Free shipping on all orders of $90 or more
- Coffee subscriptions always ship free, regardless of order size — it's a standing perk for subscribers
Prices are in Canadian dollars. Retail orders ship with Canada Post.
Processing & delivery times
Orders are processed within 3–5 business days (we're not shipping on weekends or holidays), and we usually turn them around faster than that. Transit time after that depends on Canada Post and your location. If we're expecting a significant delay on your order we'll let you know by email.
Tracking
You'll get a shipment confirmation email with your tracking number as soon as your order ships. Tracking typically goes live within 24–72 hours.
Local pickup
Prefer to skip shipping? Choose Pickup at checkout and collect your order at the café: 101-46168 Yale Road, Chilliwack. We'll email you when it's ready.
Damaged or lost shipments
If your package arrives damaged or goes missing in transit, email us within 5 business days of delivery (or of when it should have arrived) with your order number and a photo of the packaging if you have one. Because shipments go out on our carrier account, we file the claim — you don't have to chase the carrier yourself.
Wholesale orders
Rates
- Shipping is a flat rate set by delivery zone and shipment weight (BC / Central Canada / East). Your shipping cost is fixed and known before the order ships — it isn't a live carrier quote.
- Free shipping on wholesale orders of $600 or more.
- There's no minimum order for wholesale — only the shipping and delivery terms below apply.
Turnaround
- Standard: 3–5 business days
- Rush fulfillment: $95 flat, 1–2 business days, for shipments up to 20 kg. Shipments over 20 kg aren't available for self-serve rush — contact us for a quote.
Local delivery (Abbotsford, Chilliwack & Mission)
- Minimum order: $150
- Free on orders of $350 or more; orders under $350 carry a $25 delivery surcharge
Pickup at the Fulfillment Centre
Free pickup is available at our Fulfillment Centre: 8-9303 Nowell Street, Chilliwack.
Pickup hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00am–3:00pm. Closed weekends and holidays.
Need to pick up after 3pm or on a weekend? Email orders@smokingguncoffee.com before 3pm to have your order transferred to the café, where it can be picked up until 6pm. Orders can't be picked up outside Fulfillment Centre hours unless a transfer has been arranged in advance.
