Homemade Pumpkin Spice Syrup Recipe
This syrup is the heart of every great pumpkin spice latte. It’s spiced, sweet, and balanced—perfect for mixing into espresso and milk.Ingredients:
Water: 946.4 g (4 cups)
Sugar: 800 g (4 cups)
Pumpkin Spice Mix: 5.6 g (1 tbsp) *see below
Cinnamon Stick: 2.5 g (1 stick)
Canned Pumpkin Purée: 245 g (1 cup)
Pumpkin Spice Mix (house blend):
Ground Cinnamon: 7.8 g (1 tbsp)
Ground Nutmeg: 2.2 g (1 tsp) Ground Ginger: 1.8 g (1 tsp)
Ground Cloves: 1.2 g (½ tsp)
Instructions:
Combine all ingredients in a large pot. Heat over medium heat (about 1200 on an induction burner). Stir continuously until the mixture reaches a simmer. Make sure the sugar is fully dissolved—avoid boiling or burning. Remove from heat and let the cinnamon stick steep as the syrup cools (10–15 minutes). Remove the cinnamon stick before portioning. Store in labeled containers with the name and date.
