This Honduran coffee produces a nice sweet cup of coffee with notes of caramel and pleasant, mellow citrus.

We love coffee from Honduras and we especially love supporting the Tierra Lenca Women’s Cooperative.

The Lenca are the largest indigenous group in Honduras. There are an estimated 100,000 Lenca in the country with their activity primarily focused on the cultivation of agricultural crops such as coffee for export. The Tierra Lenca Woman’s Cooperative is based near the Las Tres Cruces Village in northwest Honduras. This co-op of 16 female farmers has continued to improve their coffee quality through collaborative decision-making resulting in an amazing cup of coffee that is soaring in popularity.

This coffee is sweet and delicious and supporting Tierra Lenca contributes to the sustainable development of underserved communities. Plus, it’s certified organic.
