We are huge decaf lovers at Smoking Gun Coffee and we've been wanting to add a semi-decaf or a half decaf to our line-up for a while now, which makes this blend super exciting!
Meet Short Ride Half Caff Blend! Why short ride? Well, that's what they call it when a bull rider doesn't make it to 8 seconds at the rodeo. Kind of sums it up, we think: all of the fun, but the not to buzz! Plus, cowboy kitsch is kind of our thing.
Blended and roasted for balance, clarity, and all-day drinkability Short Ride allows you to enjoy half the caffeine, all the experience.
We formulated this blend around a beautiful Swiss Water Decaf from Brazil, which comprises 50% of the blend. As always, it was decaffeinated in Delta, B.C. at the Swiss Water®️ Headquarters. It's 100% chemical-free and 99.7% caffeine-free.

We then added a single origin from Colombia to add some sweetness and nuttiness. We finished the blend with a wonderful single origin bean from Ethiopia to provide some vibrancy on the finish to create a very balance, easy-drinking medium roast profile.
The result is a beautiful coffee that provides all the flavour and experience, but with a bit less of a jolt. It's perfect for drinking later in the day, instead of decaf or if you just want a bit less caffeine in your life without going cold turkey.

Available in 340g, 850g or 2.2kg bags of whole bean coffee.
This coffee works excellent for a filter or drip machine and makes a great espresso as well.
