This Grade 1 coffee from Peru is FULL of surprising layers of flavour. It's juicy, fruity, winey and all-around delicious!

It also has some amazing varietals including the world-renown and ultra high-end geisha varietal, which helps explains why it is such a dynamic brew.

When we cupped our first test batch in our roastery we all immediately thought "candy!" A few seconds later "chocolate!" A few more seconds and "red wine!" It really is that dynamic, which makes it a fun and satisfying everyday sipper. We picked "lingonberry" as the fruity/candy flavour because it kind of reminds us of Swedish Fish!

About the Producers

M’Coffee emerged in 2020, with the idea of creating a brand of coffee that supports Women producers and creates a sustainable income for their families. They fought against gender inequality that reduced their access to education, health, and property, and to obtain the same opportunities as men to develop and enhance their physical, economic and decision-making autonomy.

The 56 women of this co-op have 43 plots producing an estimated volume of 1,950 quintals of coffee-certified parchment. They conduct all activities from planting until commercialization, allowing them to receive financial compensation for their work, in addition to participating in the development of the organization and the greater community.

This coffee is an aromatic mountain coffee, carefully cultivated under the shade of trees in the towns of Chirinos, San Ignacio and San José de Lourdes, thus guaranteeing to be free of chemical fertilizers throughout its crop. They are producing specialty-grade coffee aimed at the most demanding palettes.

We love the cup this coffee produces and the story behind it. It's delicious, ethically produced and it helps support growing communities.
