This Kenyan Nyeri AA coffee has BIG-TIME notes of lime and a tomato-y aroma and we are loving it.

This Kenyan coffee features the highly-regarded SL-28 varietal and tasting this cup shows why this bean is so sought after.

The Tegu Factory is part of the Tekangu Farmers Cooperative Society, comprised of 1200 farmers with around 100 trees each. The name Tegu comes from the nearby river and this area is famous for its agricultural production.

These beans were de-pulped, fermented, washed and then soaked (second wash, oh yeah!) to develop the recognizable crisp acidity and sparkly characteristics. They were then dried on raised beds for 21 days, being manually rotated every few hours.

It has that classic tomato-y note that Kenyans are known for, but it really tastes like lime and creamy citrus to us.

It's sparkly and crisp and, we think, the PERFECT Summer sipper coffee. We're very excited to try it over ice!
